QUESTION:

Im going to Buds training. Which course do you offer that will help me?

ANSWER:

BUDS stands for Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL School and is always capitalized.

Hell Night is the most important for guys becoming SEALs. This is because most guys have a tough time during Hell Week in BUDS.

You’ll learn so much about surviving Hell Week and a proper mind set from spending time with guys who have survived it before you and what they did to make it through. The bottom line: Most guys fail BUD/S in Hell Week.

As for the other courses, they help in a big way as well. The problem many guys have in BUD/S is losing focus of the big prize which is becoming SEALs and they quit training. Running the other courses won’t make you a better SEAL in a week, but they will reinforce why you want to be one.

When things get tough in BUD/S, and they will, you’ll look back at the things you did here and remember why you are there.

Another round of "Surf Torture" in BUD/S at 2am won’t seem like such a big deal because you’ll focus more on just doing it to become a SEAL, where many others have no idea what being a SEAL is like and run for the "Bell" when things get tough.
