buds131, In the seals is it hard in the sense of mathematics and ways such as that. if so no problem, i was just wondering. like be for. i know you can't be an idiot but how much is it mentally compared to physically.
 
The more time you spend in SEAL Team the more the equation changes in my opinion. As a new guy it's more physical than mental as you're not making as many big decisions as more senior SEALs in the platoon. Once older, you do things "smarter" and not harder than the new guys so it becomes more mental than physical as the decisions you make become ones that determine if the guys come home safe or not. The older I got, the less physical it became but got much more mental. Hope that made sense...
 
it did, thank you. I know i can do it. i just read Lone Survivor and in the beginning Mark talked about him getting straight A's and he made it sound like all other seals did to. i don't get straight A's but still above average. i just was hopping they won't turn me away for not getting like a 4.00 and a 30 on the ACT. i have to go take the ASVAB and I'm positive i will do very well on it.
