MASTER CHIEF GRIFFIN |
MASTER CHIEF MADISON |
Our Instructors, younger and older, are among the finest in Naval Special Warfare and their backgrounds are diverse. We pool from dozens of SEALs for our courses and have personally worked with each man, often suffering together in some unique way that we look back at today and can only shake our heads in amazement and laugh. Many of those hardships, unfortunately, we brought on ourselves.
Our younger SEALs are combat tested in Afghanistan and Iraq and are fierce warriors.
Our older guys have “been there and done that” and are the hardest men on the planet. No one retires as a SEAL... they survive it. These select few we are fortunate to have simply inspire anyone they come in contact with.
Younger or older, all combat proven, these guys will ensure that trainees get their money’s worth at Extreme SEAL Experience.
Lead Instructor Rick "FUCH" Fuciarelli joined the Navy at 17 years old after dropping out of High School in 1981 and graduated the Navy's academic nightmare called Explosive Ordnance Disposal School (EOD). Rick was assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit TWO until 1989 where he made numerous deployments destroying mines in the Persian Gulf and Counter Drug Operations in Columbia.
Fuch graduated BUDS Class 170 in 1989 and was assigned to SEAL Team EIGHT where he continued a demanding overseas deployment schedule to various hot spots around the globe and was later assigned to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team TWO.
As a Chief Petty Officer, Rick wrapped up 22 years of faithful service to the Navy as a SPECWAR Advanced Training Instructor teaching young SEALs demanding skills in Freefall and Static Line Jumpmaster as well as instructing SEAL Delivery Vehicle Pilots.
Particularly noteworthy… Rick has received his Master Degree after dropping out of High School.
Master Chief SEAL Aaron Griffin (ret). Aaron retired after 30 years in 2007. His background in SEAL Team is legendary as a Combat Swimmer and Winter Warfare Instructor. Decorated for Valor twice during the first Gulf War while temporarily assigned to the British Special Boat Service.
Master Chief SEAL Jim Maddog Madison (ret) . Maddog retired in 2007 after 30 years of service. His background in Special Warfare is diverse and ranges from Winter Warfare to Jungle Warfare and everything in between. Maddog also served with the British Special Boat Service. Jim was decorated for Valor as a SEAL Platoon Chief in Somalia.
Chief Petty Officer SEAL John Sullivan (ret). Sully retired in 2006 after 20 years as a SEAL. His accomplishments in SEAL Team are numerous but Sully is best known for coolness under pressure. Having spent much time with him over the years and in many situations, I have never seen him as anything but level-headed and unflappable when things start going bad. Sully served in numerous campaigns as well as Bosnia.
