QUESTION:  The whole thing sounds intense. I want to be a SEAL, but are you going to yell and harass us for a week?

ANSWER:  The short answer is no, not even close. We want guys to relax and have fun here and the course is tough enough without being "Lit Up" all the time.

Hell Night is a little different story though. It gets very intense at times, all for a reason. If you can get through Hell Night here, you can get through Hell Week in BUD/S.

After Hell Night, we show you what SEAL Team is like and the training SEALs go through. This is important for a couple reasons.

1. Guys lose focus in BUD/S during tough evolutions of the prize that awaits them after BUD/S which is SEAL Team, and they quit training. If guys knew what SEAL Team was like, many would not quit. Here we show you what SEAL Team is like during Platoon Training and Advanced SEAL Training and it’s a good time.

2. Showing you what SEAL Team is like reinforces your commitment in BUD/S. You don’t read a book about SEAL Team and know about SEAL Team. You have to experience it.

I had no idea (I thought I did) about SEALs until I checked into SEAL Team ONE. What a wake up call, and a lot of good guys quit in my class because they could not focus on six months of SUCK in BUD/S v.s. a career of being at the top of the food chain in SEAL Team.

3. Spending a week with a bunch of guys who have done what you want to do can only help you. Imagine all your questions about SEALs being answered. All the tips and networking, exchanging E-mail and phone numbers. What else can you ask for?

In the end, we work hard and play hard here. After Hell Night you have proven yourself, just like in BUD/S and things lighten up. But if you break a safety rule like sweeping someone with a weapon during the week you’re going to hear about it from me.
